I've been married for 8 years and truly believe marriage is the most amazing gift.
I had a baby girl on May 8th, 2019 and she changed my world. She makes me want to work even harder and has opened my eyes to so much more beauty in the in-between moments of life.
I have 5 siblings who are my best friends [aside from my #1 fan and hubs, Brett]
One of my younger brothers is also my second shooter! He's the most fun companion on wedding days. He reminds me to drink water, picks up everything I drop, plays "I spy" with me, and is an amazing photographer.
Meet Kayla
From kindergarten through twelfth grade my mom had a dear lady come in every other Monday and teach my siblings and I art. It grew in me an immense curiosity to look at things from a different angle, see the incredible detail in an ordinary object, and capture the amazing way light changes everything. As a result I knew I'd always need a creative outlet.
During my senior year of high-school I researched cameras for months, bought one used, read the manual cover to cover multiple times and shot everything in sight. Within that first year I had a friend ask me to photograph their wedding and I absolutely LOVED it. Now 100+ weddings later and I haven't looked back since!
I get to work with couples that are crazy in love and planning their wedding and growing families that are laughing and playing together. I've been able to see God's love more clearly because of my job and the beautiful people I get to meet!
