Thanks so much for taking the time to look through some of my photos and learn more about me. I’m so glad you’re here! Hiring a wedding photographer is about more than finding someone who can take great photos, you’re also inviting them to be a part of one of the biggest days of your life. I want to share a few things with you about my style so you can make sure the vision for your wedding day matches up with my goals for capturing it.

How I Like to Edit

I want your photos to bring you back to your wedding day and tell you the full story, exactly how you remember it. For me that means keeping the editing pretty natural in order to capture the tones of the colors you carefully chose, as well as the lighting that accurately reflects the mood of the day. I like to think that if I edit your photos right, 50 years from now you’ll be able to enjoy looking through them and not feel like they’re dated.

How I like to pose…

I love lots of movement and genuine interaction! Let's have you walk, skip, laugh, dance, kiss, tickle, hug, cuddle and just about anything else I can think of to make the photos not just a part of your "to do" list but some actual fun memories. There's a time on a wedding day for posed formal shots, and those are important, but then let’s have some fun with the rest of the time! In-between moments are my fave!

Enough time, plenty of photos, a second shooter, and rights to your images are all necessities in my opinion. I have just one wedding package that includes all of those important elements. You have enough choices while wedding planning, so trust me on this one.

I’d love to talk more over coffee or tea! If possible, let’s not have the first time we meet be on your wedding day. I only take on a select number of weddings each year and only one per weekend so I can give each wedding and couple the time they deserve. I want to know how you met, your dog’s name, what your engagement ring looks like, etc. I’d much rather you both feel like a friend is taking your photos rather than a stranger that’s annoyingly following you around all day.
